TF2 Players Explained

Varying skins, skills, health and movement ability, there are currently 9 classes for Team Fortress 2. As with CSS game servers, Team Fortress 2 has a huge amount of mods and maps via its community. As popular as ever, Team Fortress 2 game servers have been around now for 2 years.

With three sub classes for support, defence and offence, Team Fortress 2 servers have 9 different classes in total. Though you don’t have to play these exact roles, they are set to give the best balance.

Defence will be the difference between you winning on Team Fortress 2 servers or losing it. Having a good back line is needed to stop the scout from sneaking through your defence.

You have to be skilled at this class to know to play it without a proper gun or using the bottle to melee. Using the games engine and physics to his advantage, he can take out enemies very effectively. A weapon that can take out small health pools such as the scout, medic and spy is the grenade launcher- normally with just two hits! You can also use the grenade launcher to effectively take out sentry guns from behind corners. Laying sticky grenades as traps near intelligence or control points is a very good tactic. Simply lay a few sticky grenades and watch the kills roll in. Try this class if you are awful at aiming, but like explosions!

Next up is the Heavy. You guessed right- this guy is the one that likes to pack a punch. His high health and most powerful gun makes up for the fact he’s the slowest of all the classes. He can take down most things in a matter of seconds. The only thing he struggles against is his opposite number from the other team. He can take on large number of enemies at once and has a great range and wide rangeBut with his slow speed it takes him a couple of seconds to rev up that mini gun. Don’t expect to move far once you have got it going as you will be slower than your Gran with a zimmer frame!! Heavies work best with someone else covering their back while they fire. If you have a point to prove on game servers, choose this guy!

The engineer should normally only need to attack players when he comes under fire himself. He should choose to deploy and maintain helpful buildings to gain his team an advantage. The engineer is best known for his sentry gun which he can repair and upgrade with his wrench. To do this, the engineer has to collect metal from round the map. The dispensers will also resupply nearby units as well. Teleports are an excellent way of moving players from one part of the map to another. A hidden spot near the enemy base is always a good position. When it comes to getting their hands dirty they are not down and out with their slightly generic weapons. However they can be effective at medium range with their turrets and tend to sit in cover. If you like turrets and building, the engineer is for you.
